I called this Hungry because I've been stressed over grocery shopping. Seeing empty shelves and not being able to just pick up whatever we want when we want it is a real wake up call.

I printed this on Velvet Fine Art paper for its texture and amazing deep blacks.

I imagine that most cities have factories that are key to their history. The Krug Furniture Co. is one of Kitcheners oldest factories still in business. Founded in 1880 it still operate in Kitchener.

Red Barn

Red Barn, October 2019. We came across this barn on our way home from Guelph. The late afternoon sun lighting the barn was too beautiful to pass by. Beautiful scenes however sometimes don't translate into beautiful photographs. The road and fences and power lines spoiled all most of our compositions. I walked up the road a short distance to see if there were any other scenes to photograph. When I turned around, the barn with the one lone window, bathed in the late afternoon light presented the image I was after.
